SHELBURNE FARMS "FROM SUN TO CHEESE' EXHIBIT

Shelburne Farms is a membership-supported, nonprofit environmental education center and National Historic Landmark on the shores of Lake Champlain in Shelburne, Vermont. The mission is to cultivate a conservation ethic. The grass-based dairy supports a herd of 125 purebred, registered Brown Swiss cows. Their milk is transformed into award-winning farmhouse cheddar cheese on the property.

Sarah Montgomery designed an exhibit for the cheese-making demonstration area to explain the complete cycle of cheesemaking on the farm, from the sun, to the cheese.
